How it works

You pick JavaScript, Python, or Swift. TFB proposes a few possible futures, runs the language-specific worker gate, and inserts the survivor at the textarea caret.

Local fallback

The current local demo is context-bounded and does not use an LLM yet. It offers futures only inside the demo function; semantic completions come from the server model lane when that lane is enabled.

Model lane

This needs a GPT-5-Codex/GPT-5.5-class coding model, Claude Sonnet wearing the TFB harness, or an equivalent frontier code model, behind /api/v1/tfb-code/future. The browser never holds model credentials, model calls happen only on explicit run, and the worker still decides what survives.
